Women have historically played vital roles in their communities/ tribes as healers, shamans, curanderas, witches, midwives and herbalist across various cultures and over time. We want to gather to build community, share skills and learn from each other. Sexual Brujas seeks to connect through partners, friendships, family and community.

We identify as Sexual Brujas (Witch in English) to reclaim our sexual power and life force embedded in us as women. As brujas we embracing our connection to mother earth. As sexual brujas we embrace our connection to creation, pleasure, exploration, intimacy, safety and liberation.

Capturing and harnessing our sexual power allows us to recognize and honor our ongoing needs and wants without shame and guilt.

This is an invitation to join other women; connect, learn, share skills/We identify as Sexual Brujas to reclaim our sexual power and life force embedded in us as women by embracing our right to pleasure, exploration, intimacy, safety and liberation.

Sexual Brujas

We are building: Sexual Brujas-a holistic wellness space of multigenerational people of global majority/BIPOC to explore, advocate, share skills/knowledge and reinvigorate women's energy with the conscious intention of collectively growing with other women. We will gather for circles i.e. gatherings or workshops representing different skills. Holistic knowledge of our sexual, spiritual, social, emotional/mental, physical wellbeing.

Sexual Brujas Values:

We are inclusive of women of Global Majority/BIPOC and LGTBQIA + and aim to the de-colonization our relationships and experiences.

We aim to align with the indigenous ways of interconnectedness between people, land and all beings.

We are ever-growing beings open to be respectful, as well as challenge our values/ beliefs that no longer serve us and can align with the collective needs and our needs.

Sexual Brujas reclaims our POWER as brujas, healers, curanderas, seers, herbalist, and connectors to ancient wisdom.

The label of "witches" or "brujas" (in Spanish) have been used historically to disconnect, contain, minimize, dehumanize, outcast, excluded, harm and kill women.

Sexual Brujas seeks to connect through partners, friendships, family and community.

Women's sexuality inherently connect to liberation with the power of creation. Alignment with your sexuality without shame ignites liberation with knowing your body, acknowledging your wants, needs and pleasures to yourself and others. Sexuality is the source of our life force. Women's sexuality is magic, there is mystery and significant unknowns or repression that still need to be discovered.

Women's sexuality has been deemed as magic, enchantments, powerful and dangerous. Historically women have been seen as a threat, that needs to be contained, controlled and managed. Women that have deviated from social norms from speaking their opinion, gaining knowledge, leading and creating their own path have been persecuted, abused and killed. We are still not absent of women being threatened, harmed or killed.

Therefore as a collective we reclaim the name Bruja by building connections, support and collective power; will push back on the normalization of harm to women.

"Bruja" is a source of power and acceptance; we are all unique magical beings. We harness our power to live authentically connected to ourselves and others.
